GILL BRENNAN COUNSELLING
I have been a counsellor to adults and young people for over twelve years.
I aim to offer a caring, genuine, professional relationship with a commitment to support you with your personal problems, so that you can:-
Are you facing a challenging time in your life? Are you feeling like you are struggling to make sense of things on your own? Do you have intrusive thoughts which you are trying to make sense of or manage? Life can be difficult, and it makes sense to seek out support in a counsellor and invest in your wellbeing. Although I understand it can be hard to make contact with a counsellor for the first time, please be reassured that you will receive a respectful and sympathetic response from me. I want you to feel safe, supported and accepted, and for our work to be effective. Do call me if you would like to discuss how I could work with you. I can work with what you bring - be it a single issue or multiple, complex issues. Counselling can be undertaken on a short- or long-term basis, depending on your needs. You may feel immediate relief from being able to 'offload' and reflect on some of your personal concerns. Over time, counselling can help you more significantly with your personal problems by facilitating positive change and personal growth. By exploring thoughts and feelings from your past and present - and experiencing a non-judgemental relationship and a dedicated space for reflection - you can gain a deeper self-awareness and a way to move forward. My counselling room in Godalming GU7 is discreet, private and comfortable, based within easy reach of Dunsfold, Farncombe, Guildford, Hambledon, Hascombe, Milford, Chiddingfold, Bramley, Shalford, Witley, Elstead, Chilworth, Cranleigh and Haslemere, the A3 and other areas of Surrey. Accessibility My room is up two shallow steps with a double door entrance. Please contact me for any further information about accessibility of any kind, and let me know if I can be of assistance. As I work from home in Busbridge, Godalming GU7, I can offer clients access to more flexibility in scheduling appointments and free parking is always available.
